Emerald Island is one of the most classiest, striking and certainly best operated resorts within the area. It is centrally located to attractions, shopping, restaurants and major traffic routes. Particularly close by is Formosa Gardens and Margaritaville with an abundance of restaurants, shopping and attractions.

 

Manned at the security gate 7 days a week and 24 hours a day the resort offers fun and security in the same instance.

A couple of minutes along the road from Secret Key Villa is the resort clubhouse where the concierge company is housed. Open from 8am - 10pm the personnel here offer guest services and are on hand to answer questions or queries regarding any aspect of your vacation.

Also at the clubhouse is a business center with available printer and meeting room offering free WiFi, exercise room, sauna, communal pool and Tiki bar serving drinks and snacks. A sand volleyball area, lighted tennis court and a basketball court are available for use and there is a relaxing nature walk of 11 acres of natural woodland with a concrete pavement winding through it. The stroll will provide a quiet and peaceful exercise within the tranquillity of nature and relaxation. There are also three playgrounds located throughout the resort. A mini golf course is situated adjacent to the clubhouse and alongside the Kiddies 'Tot Lot' for families to enjoy spending time together. Guests are able to hire bicycles to explore the resort or the surrounding areas. 

 

The front desk can supply area information, park tickets and sports equipment as well as details on bicycle hire. There is also an ATM, TV area and free coffee and tea available. A recent addition to the resort clubhouse is the Sundry Shop where you will find various items for sale.

There is a calendar of events that often includes ‘movie by the pool’ evenings, karaoke and special entertainment nights. If desired, this is a great place to meet new friends from the United States and from around the world.
