Directions
The following route from Orlando International Airport to Secret Key Villa is our preferred route. There is a toll road within this route and we highly advise you that when you book your car hire you choose to accept the electronic toll charge arrangement which allows you to pass through the express lanes via SunPass ONLY, E-PASS and LeeWay ONLY toll lanes throughout Florida. It just makes it so much easier to breeze through. If not make sure you have a few dollars available to cover road tolls.
1. Take 'North Exit' from Orlando International Airport to HWY 528 (Beeline Expressway West)
2. Take HWY 528 West until you reach Interstate 4 (approx 10 miles)
3. Take I-4 West to Exit 64B (HWY 192 West) - (approx 9 miles)
4. Take HWY 192 West to Formosa Gardens Blvd (approx 3 miles) - after mile marker 5 you will see a sign to Formosa Gardens Boulevard so get into the left lane and turn left at the next traffic lights (at the Harley Davidson shop).
5. Turn left onto Formosa Gardens Blvd. In approx 1/2 mile at the 4-way stop sign turn right onto Funie Steed Road.
6. Emerald Island will be approx 1/2 mile on your left (HWY-429 viaduct will pass over you and entrance to Emerald Island Resort is immediately after this).
